This is official description
A new generation solution – the machine translator supporting eight languages and 56 translation directions – has implemented the most advanced technologies. In our translator all possible translation directions are supported for all languages presented. This makes it easy-to-use and highly sought.
The unique features of the program provide high translation quality of documents, e-mails and Web-sites.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 5.0
Pragma 5.0.100.57 is a program for translating text documents between seven languages.
Pragma 5 supports English, German, French, Latvian, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.
The program translates directly in a window of the active application or in a separate window. It can translate the text information present in MS Word documents, Internet pages, E-mails, helps and content of different text windows.
The program can be installed in English or Russian. This is the language of the interface only.
When installing the Trial Version, you must enter 107F-B473 as the serial number. The first thing that the program will do is checking if there´s a new version of the program available through your Internet Connection, and then will download and install it. While making this review, Pragma 5 updated to version 5.0.100.61.
The internal dictionaries were also updated to their most recent versions.
The program doesn´t have an interface of its own. It stays quiet as a small icon on the tray bar, and you can call it whenever you need it. |

What's new in version 6.0
The main improvement of Pragma 6.x is conversion of the product in Unicode. By means of it, the translator kernel can work with broadened alphabets which gave an opportunity to develop the Kazakh translation module. This solution resulted in increasing of translator’s speed.
The imperfection, though insignificant, is the language modules volume increasing approximately in one and a half times. Also Windows 95/98/Me are not supported now. For these OS you need to use Pragma 5.x.
Some changes are noticeable in the interface part of the program. Pragma 6.x supports all latest versions of office and Internet applications.
New opportunities in licence policy have appeared. As before the program is distributed freely as a shareware and is available for downloading from our site. The brand-new is the tempopary licence with the minimal period of program use for one month.
Pragma 6.x has two product lines - Pragma 6.x Business and Pragma 6.x Home. These packets are focused on offices and private users, respectively. The aim of this differenses was to make the program available for home users. |
